processing methods of various ores


Iron ore  :(1) ore crushing;(2) grinding process;(3) magnetic separation;(4) sintering pellet technology;

Manganese: mechanical separation (including dressing, screening, gravity separation, strong magnetic separation and flotation), as well as pyrolysis, chemical separation and so on.

Chromium: adopt jigger , shaking table, spiral concentrator, centrifugal concentrator and belt chute separation, but also by hydraulic separation .

Cobalt: flotation separation is commonly used.

Tungsten: tungsten is divided into black tungsten and white tungsten by ore type.The mineral processing methods include manual separation, gravity separation, flotation, magnetic separation and electric separation.

Tin: the mineral processing method is gravity mineral processing and flotation technology.

Molybdenum: mainly flotation separation.

Mercury: there are hand-selected, gravity separation and flotation separation, among which flotation is the most effective and widely used.

Antimony: mainly by hand-selected, gravity separation and flotation separation.

Platinum group :(1) reasonable ball mill, using appropriate cyclone classification;(2) cyanidation and flotation;

Gold: the content of gold in ore is very low. The extraction of gold requires crushing and grinding the ore and separating the gold by mineral processing.Mainly gravity, amalgamation, flotation, cyanide.

Silver :(1) flotation method;(2) single flotation method,the combined process of floating-gravity method and flotation cyanidation method, among which flotation is the most important.

Niobium, tantalum, beryllium lithium: manual separation method, flotation method, chemical or chemical-flotation combined method, Warm cleaning method , radioactive separation method, particle flotation method.

Strontium: the most commonly used method is the flow with jigging and shaking table as the main body.
Rare earth metals: the concentrate containing about 60% rare earth oxides is generally obtained by magnetic separation and flotation separation
