The difference between dry magnetic separator and wet magnetic separator

1. Different mineral humidity: dry magnetic separator can choose the mineral humidity of less than 5%, and wet magnetic separator ore separation process must rely on water as the medium of magnetic separator.
2. Different feeding granularity: dry magnetic separator is used to separate bulk, coarse particles of strong magnetic separation and finer particles of weak magnetic ore (beach sand).Wet magnetic separator for the separation of fine - grained strong magnetic ore and fine - grained weak magnetic ore.
3. Different processes: dry magnetic separator can achieve separation of ore without water, and the process is simple.Wet magnetic separator process is complex, the ore needs to be broken and ground before entering the wet magnetic separator for separation.
