Ball mill “full grinding” is an abnormal phenomenon during the operation of the grinding machine, which will affect the normal operation of the grinding work. If not handled in time, it will affect the final output.  In addition, there is another abnormal phenomenon called  "ball pasting" of ball mill, the appearance of the two very similar, it is difficult to distinguish.

Ball mill "ball pasting" is caused by poor ventilation inside the mill, high temperature and charge on the surface of the material, resulting in adsorption on the abrasive, the lining and the bulkhead.In addition, the fine material itself will be charged by the different adsorption, forming a small strips.
The surface phenomenon of "full grinding" and "ball pasting" of the mill is very similar, both of which are noise and dull, the mill running current decreases, the output of the mill decreases greatly, the grate gap of the compartment plate is blocked by the material, and a large amount of material is adhered to the abrasive body, the lining plate and the compartment plate.But they are also different: when "full grinding", grinding materials wet, grinding tail exhaust duct drip more (open grinding), dust collector condensation; When  "ball pasting", the temperature of raw material and gas is high, steam rises on the tail screen, thin strips material is in the product, at the same time, the temperature of large  exit bearing of the mill is high, and the cement is sticky.

The cause of "ball pasting" and "full grinding" is totally different, and it must be distinguished clearly in order to handle it correctly.In the case of "ball pasting", the method of reducing or stopping feeding shall not be adopted as in the case of "full grinding".
