1. 2. Pulp concentration of the ball mill: the appropriate grinding concentration of the ball mill should not only enable the solid material to move uniformly along the surface of the grinding medium, but also facilitate the material to flow from the feeding end of the ball mill to the discharging end.If the pulp is too thick, the viscosity will increase and the grinding medium will be greatly affected by buoyancy. The effective density of the ball mill will become smaller and the impact force will be weakened. Even the steel ball of the ball mill will be taken out of the ball mill, or the grid board of the ball mill will be blocked.When pulp thin, fine ore sinks, if use the overflow type ball mill, the product will be thinner, and easy to have a crush, generally when the feed particle size is larger, cyclic load is high, it is advisable to ball mill grinding concentration at close to 80%, when ore containing more slime, need low grinding concentration, in order to make pulp density generally about 70%.In order to improve the fluidity and stability of the pulp, dispersants and coagulants can be appropriately added in the case that the ball mill dressing operation is not affected.
